Like the title of this blog says, this is the beginning.  The beginning of my blog, the beginning of my website, and the beginning of my journey as a boudoir photographer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

While this is the beginning of my journey as an Oshkosh boudoir photographer, it’s not the beginning of my photography journey. I’ve actually been a photographer for several years. Over the last three years, I focused on capturing weddings and seniors (which you can view here). Before that, I didn’t have a focus at all. I photographed anything and everything.

Here’s a little about me:

I’m a wife to a pretty cool guy who gets on my nerves some times, but still makes me happy for the most part. I’m a mother to an adorable little boy and two very rambunctious dogs. I grew up in Southern Colorado, but moved to Wisconsin in November of 2019. I love coffee, chocolate and the colors of springtime. We mostly follow a plant-based diet. It’s been incredibly hard to give up eggs, cheese, and some things that contain dairy (like chocolate), but I’m working on it. I love Criminal Minds and Game of Thrones and have been a die-hard Star Wars fan ever since I can remember. I am an artist, a bullet journal-er, a free spirit, and a survivor. I aim to create something every day.

And I love being a boudoir photographer. 

There is something incredibly powerful about showing your most intimate self.  You are doing it on your terms, in your way. I’m incredibly passionate about helping women take that power, and see the beautiful, strong, amazing human beings they are, as they are.
